Dr. Ali Azamov, M.D., CNIM holds a California medical license and an ECFMG certification. He is certified as a CNIM and is board certified in Pain Management by the American Academy of Procedural Medicine. His extensive educational background began at II Tashkent State Medical Institute in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where he earned his M.D. from 1991 to 1997. He completed a diverse range of internships and residencies in various hospitals in Tashkent. His specialization in neurophysiology was furthered by a residency at UC Davis School of Medicine’s Aaken Laboratories and Active Diagnostics, followed by a surgical neurophysiology fellowship at UNLV School of Medicine.In his professional career, Dr. Azamov has served in numerous roles, from a neurophysiologist at Aaken Laboratories and Active Diagnostics to an IOM Specialist and Consultant at Neurodynamics INC. He also held the position of Head Consultant and Neurophysiologist at IMS INC. in Sacramento and served as an Assistant Professor in the UCSD Department of Neuroscience’s Intraoperative Neurophysiology program. Since 2009, he has been the founder and neurophysiologist at Alians Neuromonitoring, INC. in San Diego.He has also been involved with multiple surgical centers such as Carlsbad Surgery Center, Miracle Mile Surgery Center, Coast Surgery Center, and Physician Surgery Center. Dr. Azamov is a member of scholarly societies like The American Society of Neurophysiological Monitoring and the Western Society of Neurophysiological Monitoring. Fluent in Russian, Uzbek, and English, Dr. Azamov continues to contribute significantly to the fields of neurophysiology and pain management through his clinical practice, research, and academic involvement. Dr. Azamov is a consultant Neurophysiologist at Alliance Medical Group.
