Dr. Jared Brummel is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine, Total Joint Replacement, and Arthroscopy As an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Brummel is focused on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries, disorders and diseases of the body’s musculoskeletal system.

Dr. Brummel graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007 in Erie, Pennsylvania. At Riverside County Regional Medical Center, Dr. Brummel completed his internship, followed by his Orthopedic Surgery Residency. He then went on to complete his Sports Medicine/Arthroscopy Fellowship at the renowned Hughston Clinic (Columbus, GA) before the joining the practice for several years. Prior to returning to Southern California, he was the Director of Orthopedics at Wellstar’s West Georgia Hospital in LaGrange, Georgia.

Dr. Brummel’s services include, but are not limited to:

• Arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle.
• Reverse and total shoulder reconstruction and replacement (arthroplasty).
• Total hip reconstruction/replacement utilizing minimally invasive direct anterior approach.
• Total / partial knee reconstruction/replacement.
• General orthopedics and fracture care.
• Ultrasound guided diagnostics and procedures/injections.
• Sports related muscle and ligament injuries and conditions.

Dr. Jared Brummel has enjoyed caring for athletes of all types and at all levels from high school and college to the professional level. He has also enjoyed caring for the everyday athlete making it through the game of life. Even though Dr. Brummel is a surgeon, he believes strongly, that whenever possible, nonsurgical treatment should be discussed with patients as an option. His focus is to provide excellent and professional medical care with a friendly and compassionate approach.

Dr. Brummel is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon with ‘The Hosalkar Institute’ and is a welcomed addition to the Institute.

Dr. Brummel is an active member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics (AOAO), American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA).
