Dr. Murad Arif is a fellowship-trained consultant Pain Medicine physician who offers his expertise and advanced technical skills to serve the greater Temecula Valley region.

Dr. Arif utilizes a comprehensive approach to managing acute and chronic pain, including conservative modalities (physical therapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, acupuncture) and interventional procedures such as epidural steroid injections, facet injections, transforaminal injections, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulation, as well as regenerative medicine and biologics treatment modalities.

Dr. Arif completed his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine. He then completed a residency in anesthesiology, serving as chief resident at the world-renowned Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. During his training, he was active in several committees, including serving as a district director for the California Society of Anesthesiologists, where he advocated for the specialties of both Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. Dr. Arif then went on to complete a comprehensive and multidisciplinary fellowship program in Pain Medicine, also at Cedars-Sinai. He is active in many professional organizations, including the North American Neuromodulation Society, the Spine Intervention Society, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the California Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Arif believes in a patient-centered, individualized approach and seeks to improve the quality of life and restore the maximum amount of function for his patients.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and staying active by playing basketball, working out, and hiking.

Dr. Arif is a consultant pain management specialist for the Hosalkar Institute/Alliance Medical Group.
