Dr. Rakhesh Guttikonda

Dr. Rakhesh Guttikonda (well known in San Diego as ‘Dr G’) completed his Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery fellowship in New York and prioritizes patient care. Training at a Level 1 Trauma Center has given Dr. Guttikonda expertise in all aspects of Reconstructive and Hand Surgery. Dr. Guttikonda remains at the forefront of newest Cosmetic Surgery techniques.
Dr Guttikonda is affiliated with many hospital systems in San Diego and has both a cosmetic and plastic reconstructive practice. He helps orthopedic trauma and reconstruction surgeons with various complex limb reconstructive procedures as well as soft-tissue coverage procedures. He also specializes in traumatic issues of breast implants, scar revisions and non-surgical modalities of scar treatment/ minimization.
He takes humble pride in his excellent cosmetic work in demanding patients and remains very passionate in helping individuals who are unfortunate to have had personal injuries in situations like car accidents, falls or dog-bites/attacks.
Dr G owns the ‘Remedi Plastic Surgery and Spa’ business in San Diego where he runs his independent private practice. He is the proud father of two wonderful children, and is a family man with a physician spouse.
Dr G is a consultant plastic surgeon and Chief of Plastic Surgery at ‘The Hosalkar Institute’ since 2016.
