Jackie is a Certified Medical Assistant who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from California State University, Long Beach in 2018. Previous to joining The Hosalkar Institute, Jackie worked at a family medicine practice for one year. Jackie’s interest in medicine stems from her goal to be a life-long learner. With medicine constantly evolving, she believes that there is always something new to learn. Being born and raised in Hawaii, Jackie grew up in a close-knit community where she learned to care for everyone as if they were family. Jackie carries the same mentality with the patients she gets to interact with, hoping to make them feel cared for especially during the times they are in pain. In her free time, Jackie enjoys spending the day at the beach either swimming or surfing. Jackie also enjoys trying out new cuisines, cooking and baking
