Dr. Jenica Lanier, Psy.D.
Dr. Jenica (Jeni) Lanier is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She attended the APA-accredited program at the American School of Professional Psychology in Orange County, CA, and received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology in 2017. Dr. Lanier has experience in clinical and forensic settings, where she treated adults, seniors, adolescents, and children. Dr. Lanier completed her pre-doctoral internship at a juvenile center in Texas, where she worked with children and adolescents. She has extensive experience in the areas of trauma, addiction, depression, stress, anxiety, mania, grief and loss, domestic violence and abuse, interpersonal relationships, and problematic sexual behavior.
Dr. Lanier trained in diverse settings, including the YWCA of San Diego where she worked with victims of domestic violence, abuse, and homelessness. She completed clinical work at Community Research Foundation, Halcyon Crisis Center in El Cajon, CA, where she worked with adults in acute psychiatric crisis referred to the center by the nearby hospitals for further stabilization. Dr. Lanier also worked with children and adolescents at Pathways Community Services in Anaheim, CA. Furthermore, Dr. Lanier performs academic achievement, intelligence, personality, forensic, and other psychological assessment services.
For over two and a half years, Dr. Lanier has been providing psychological services for Embrasse, a private outpatient treatment facility located in Vista, CA. She works with individuals, ages 14–75+, exhibiting diverse mental health challenges and concerns. Dr. Lanier collaborates effectively with physicians/psychiatrists, private, county, and state agencies to provide comprehensive patient support.
Dr. Lanier joined the “Hosalkar Institute” as Clinical Psychologist in 2022.
