Marilyn has been with the practice for several years. With her 25 years of experience in healthcare office administration and management, she played an integral role in rolling out the successful expansion of the south bay location of The Hosalkar Institute for Joint Preservation and Injury Care. She currently manages all office locations and oversees the billings and collections department.

She is loved, recognized and often praised by patients and staff for her outstanding work and service.

Marilyn was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1972. Raised by her loving and hardworking mother, she learned to be a responsible person at a young age. Life experience taught her to live up to high expectations and push herself a little more to be able to stand on her own feet. During high school, she worked part time and often volunteered in Urology and OBGYN clinics. After graduating high school, she spent 6 years working in an Internal Medicine Clinic as a front and back office medical assistant. Prior to joining the Hosalkar team, she worked for a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon as an office manager for 12 years. She works hard and pushes herself to accomplish her goals.

Her favorite past time is singing. She has loved singing since the age of 9 and enjoys jamming with her three wonderful kids and her husband (who is a healthcare professional).
