  The first time I realized something was wrong with my health, I was in 4th grade and experiencing significant pain in my left knee. This pain eventually spread to my left hip. I was hospitalized in Milwaukee, but unfortunately, I didn’t receive the care I truly needed. Two years later, the same pain began in my right knee and progressed to my right hip. As a child, this experience was terrifying.
  In 6th grade, I was hospitalized again, this time in Ft. Myers, but once again, I didn’t receive the treatment that could have made a difference. By the time I was 17, I was fortunate to be referred to Dr. Harish Hosalkar. He performed hip preservation surgery on both of my hips, and my life drastically changed for the better.
  For the first time in years, I felt "normal." I could finally do the things I had missed out on throughout my childhood. Thanks to Dr. Hosalkar’s expertise and care, I was able to live life to the fullest.
  I’m now 27 years old and continue to see Dr. Hosalkar—not just for myself but for my family as well, whenever we have a need. I don’t know what my quality of life would be today if it weren’t for the exceptional care he provided. I am forever grateful to Dr. Hosalkar and his staff for always treating me like a person and not just a number. Thank you, Dr. Hosalkar, for giving me my life back.
