  I have endured a challenging and complex journey with Charcot disease, a condition that severely affected my foot and ankle. Five years ago, I faced a series of devastating setbacks— toe amputations and an additional surgery in 2022 that all failed. My condition deteriorated to the point where I was advised to undergo a leg amputation. The thought of losing my leg was overwhelming, but deep inside, I held on to a glimmer of hope.
